DECLARING THAT INVESTIGATIVE agencies will unearth the “conspiracy” behind the blast near Delhi's Red Fort, which has claimed 13 lives so far, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Tuesday that the perpetrators “will not be spared” and “all those responsible will be brought to justice”.

The Prime Minister's remarks were echoed by Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh who said those behind Monday's incident will “face the full wrath” of agencies that are conducting a “swift and thorough’ investigation.

Modi's reference to a “conspiracy” was the first public indication by the country's top leadership of a terror plot involved in the blast.
