Asian Paints rises 43% on strong domestic demand

ASIAN PAINTS ON Wednesday reported a 43% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the September quarter (Q2FY26) to €994 crore, beating street estimates of 895 crore for the period.

Revenue from operations stood at €8,513 crore during the quarter,up 6.3%yo-y,and ahead of 8,157 crore forecast for the period, according to Bloomberg analysts. The performance was driven by decorative, automotive and industrial paints, the company said.
