Q2 REVENUE STAYS FLAT ON GST DISRUPTIONS

HINDUSTAN UNILEVER (HUL) ON Thursday reported a 3% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit for the second quarter of the current fiscal at 2,690 crore, aided by onetime gains. However, its standalone revenue came innearly flat,at 15,585 crore due to trade disruptions caused by the GST rate changes in September and extended rainfall in several parts of India.
