FM Lauds Role of SPMCIL in Refining Gold

COMMENDING THE ROLE of Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) in refining and assaying of precious metals, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday said the state-run firm has delivered 3.4 tonnes of refined gold to the Reserve Bank of India in FY25 from seizures transferred by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.
