Watts crosses the city divide and joins Argyle

FORMER Exeter City player Caleb Watts has completed a move across the Devon divide and has joined Plymouth Argyle on a three-year deal.
Watts rejected a deal to stay with the Grecians and instead has made the decision to move down the A38 to the Pilgrims with both teams playing their football in League One next season.
On Friday afternoon, City confirmed in a statement that Watts had turned down an offer from them which they 'considered to be both fair and competitive'.
Later that evening, Argyle confirmed the signing of the 23-year-old.
An Exeter City statement on their official club website had read: “Exeter City can confirm that Caleb Watts has declined a contract offer which the club considered to be both fair and competitive, choosing instead to join another League One side.
