College students give a helping hand to police
Express and Echo
|May 08, 2025
MEDIA students from Exeter College have been putting their social media skills to the test by creating a series of TikTok videos to be used by Devon & Cornwall Police.
As part of their course, the UAL Diploma in creative media production and technology, students worked with the force's corporate communications and engagement team to create the short social videos which will feature on the police's new TikTok channel.
Subject areas covered by the project include the danger of drink and drug driving, making sure a young person has a safe night out, the dangers of texting while driving and tips to avoid having your drink spiked.
