Kyra was top of class and was so kind, say friends after water park death

Kyra Hill went missing during a birthday party at Liquid Leisure in Berkshire on Saturday.

She was a pupil at Coombe Wood school, a secondary in south Croydon which opened in 2018.

According to reports, she disappeared underwater while taking part in an inflatable obstacle course.

The young Manchester United fan played football for her school and was described by friends as kind, smart and caring.

A 12-year-old classmate who played football with her told the Mail Online: "Kyra was so kind. She was really smart, she was at the top of all our classes. She liked to make people smile, she cared about people."

The mother of another pupil said: "She was such a sweet girl."

On social media, a friend wrote: "Your smile and hugs gave me life and you will never be forgotten."
