The City of Edinburgh Council meets tomorrow and our elected members will be dealing with a range of motions submitted for discussion.

For instance, Cllr Neil Cuthbert states in his motion that "Council is currently consulting on the proposed North-South tramline between Granton and the Royal infirmary. As part of this consultation process a meeting was arranged with Drylaw and Telford Community Council on 7 October.

"Media reports indicated that the Transport Convener, who had been invited to attend and had confirmed his attendance previously, did not attend this meeting, citing safety concerns."
