As we head deeper into autumn and the dark, dank days of winter approach, the presence of pot-grown indoor plants can contribute so much to our sense of wellbeing.
Whether you have a single living entity on a windowsill or an assortment of different types in a garden room, close contact and the challenge of maintaining plant health becomes an enjoyable daily routine.
Last week we checked out some garden centre options and confirm there's plenty of choice out there in floral and ornamental form.
So, let's begin with the bulb offering.
Back in September we gave a heads up on the forcing of prepared hyacinths into bloom, to gain fragrant attractive flowers before the year's end.
