Could he be region's oldest resident at 105?
A Christmas birthday could make 105-year-old Oliver Gordon Davies the oldest resident in Dumfries and Galloway.
Great-great-grandaughter Paisley Middleton is wondering if he has the honour.
She said: "On Friday, December 19, my great-great-grandpa turned 105 years old. We are wondering if this would make him the oldest person in Dumfries and Galloway?
"He has had three heart attacks and a triple-heart bypass - but has outlived his life expectancy and is still doing very well for someone of his age."
Now a resident at Carlingwark House Care Home in Castle Douglas, Oliver spent his birthday surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter.
