Rotary golfers raise thousands for Pilgrims Hospices charity

CHANNEL Rotary’s annual golf day was a great success this year, with more than 40 teams playing for individual and team prizes including nearest the pins and beat the pro, which proved very popular.

It was a sunny but windy day at the very well-presented course at Sene Valley Golf Club, and the competition was close-fought, with both team and men’s individual winners decided on countback
The winning men’s team was Dan Hulme, Jon Hulme, Josh de Haan and Chris Kent; the winning ladies’ team was Linda Dicks, Tina Oughton, Sue Price and Sarah Lloyd; and the winning mixed team was Mike and Lisa Simmonds, Geoff Milsted, and Paul Simmonds.
Individual winners were Dan Hulme (men) and Sue Price (ladies).
