-
TUTBURY are up and running after promotion to Millers Partnership Division One, beating Alfreton away by 32 runs.
Put in, they pieced together a useful 219 all out from 45.1 overs.
Contributions came from Mykylo Bird (30), Jordan Fourie (33), Zain Ashfaq (31) and Oliver Mitchell (31), along with 26 each from Andrew Wells and Matt Considine.
The key to victory was then a fine start by Tutbury’s bowlers to reduce Alfreton to 19-4, Ben Halliday (3-39) and Callum Mason (3-25) taking two each.
