TOWN'S 'FAMILY FRIENDLY SOCIAL HUB' HAS BEEN MODERNISED INSIDE AND OUT

- By TELEGRAPH REPORTER

A PUB is set to reopen this Friday after receiving a £305,000 transformation.

The Steeplechase, on Bridge Street in Uttoxeter, is part of Proper Pubs, the wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, which runs more than 220 venues across England, Scotland and Wales.

Behind the bar is Adam Hollinshead, who whilst new to the town, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to The Steeplechase having spent the last 26 years working in hospitality across Spain and the UK.

He says he is looking forward to building a vibrant, family and dog friendly social hub, where everyone feels welcome.

Speaking as the revamp was taking place, Adam said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with how the refurbishment is progressing and I can’t wait to see the final look ahead of welcoming customers back through the doors.

“I’d like to thank everyone, in particular the team at Proper Pubs, for all their support in helping me to bring this transformation to life.”
