A CARE home joined the nation in marking Armistice Day with a series of commemorations.

Throughout the week, residents of Amber Wood Care Home in Burton were busy creating poppy decorations to adorn the home.
On Remembrance Sunday, residents and staff gathered for a tea party whilst watching the TV coverage.
The home also hosted a Remembrance-themed performance with entertainers singing war year songs (pictured).
