Second-hand shop is focus of new show

A SOLO theatre show based on the true story of a second-hand shop and its eccentric owner will be performed at this year’s Buxton Fringe.

Grandma's Shop explores the life of Hilda, a Sheffield woman who ran a vintage clothing shop on Devonshire Street from the 1960s to the mid-1990s - a local eccentric who looked after stray cats with the shop's takings.
Written and performed by Hilda’s granddaughter Julie, the show will run for three performances at Underground at the Working Men's Club, July 17-19.
