School to close as campus is put on market for £2m

AN independent school in Derbyshire will close within the next year, with its campus listed on the market for £2 million.

OneSchool Global, which runs an international network of independent schools, said it would be closing its campus in Wellington Street, Long Eaton, which teaches children from ages seven to 18.

Its pupils, as well as those at the campus in Atherstone, Warwickshire, will be merged at a new site in north Coventry in early 2026.

The Long Eaton site currently has 80 students - 25 primary and 55 secondary - according to its web page.
