BREWERS LET SLIP OF TWO-GOAL LEAD AT ROTHERHAM

- By DAN NEWBOULD

BURTON Albion were denied all three points at Rotherham with a dramatic late leveller as they had to settle for a share of the spoils despite being two goals up.

Rotherham fought back to 2-2 and might have evoked memories of Barnsley doing the exact same thing before then going on to score a winner as well but, all in all, it can be considered a good point on the road to continue a positive spell of form and momentum.

Tyrese Shade continued his purple patch after two goals at the weekend in the FA Cup thumping of St Albans with another screamer and Kyran Lofthouse scored his first for the club as well.

Kian Spence had the first chance of the game for the hosts as he showed terrific technique to connect with a left footed volley on the edge of the area but his effort was dragged wide and did little to test Brad Collins in goal.
