DERBY County face their first home game of the Championship season tomorrow as they host former boss Frank Lampard and his Coventry City team at Pride Park Stadium (12.30pm).

- By LEIGH CURTIS

After beating West Bromwich Albion on penalties in the Carabao Cup, the Rams will be looking to get their season up and running after losing to Stoke City in the curtain-raiser at the Bet365 stadium.

Confidence will be high following the manner of their win against the Baggies on Tuesday night, as a last-gasp goal from Joe Ward sent the first round tie into penalties, in which Josh Vickers proved the hero as Derby ran out 3-2 winners in a shootout.

Now, attentions turn to Coventry, who drew their opening game of the season 0-0 at home to Hull City.

The Rams beat Coventry 2-0 at home towards the end of last season.

But Derby go into this game with some injury doubts and a string of absentees.

Here is the latest from the treatment room ahead of the weekend.

Corey Blackett-Taylor:

Unfortunately for Derby, the winger pulled up with 10 minutes remaining against Stoke City last weekend, having provided the assist for Carlton Morris's goal.
