VICTIM CHASED DEFENDANT AND MADE A CITIZEN'S ARREST
A BURGLAR has been jailed after repeatedly targeting the same home in Ilkeston.
The victim was alerted to the attempted burglary at his home by a neighbour, who called them on November 15 to tell them they had heard loud banging and thought someone was breaking into the property on Drummond Road.
The homeowner attended the scene and chased the burglar down the street before making a citizen's arrest on him in a nearby park and calling police.
Officers attended and arrested Mitchell Calladine on suspicion of burglary.
