Brewers dig in to claim hard-fought away point against Terriers in the rain

But despite claiming their first away point of the campaign, the Brewers dropped to the bottom of the table.

In the opening stages, Burton had the better chances at the Accu Stadium.

First, Jake Beesley latched on to a cross from the left by Sebastian Revan, but could only nod it wide under pressure.

Then, after 10 minutes, Kyran Lofthouse flicked the ball on to Tyrese Shade and the striker forced a good save from Lee Nicholls.

The strike was low and on target, the goalkeeper managing to just palm it beyond his far post.

Shade went close again after 18 minutes. Released by Charlie Webster, the striker drove forward before shooting low at the left post. Nicholls got down well to palm the ball wide with a strong right hand.
