A DERBYSHIRE artist and musician has created an artwork at a library showing the ancient Egyptian king Tutankhamun.
Mark Lilley's fresco at Wirksworth library features Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs reading “Tutankhamun of the Royal House”.
The two other characters shown with Tutankhamun are Ankhesenamun and Anubis - god of the underworld and protector of the dead.
Mark started the work in 2021 to celebrate the centenary of Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovering Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922.
