Albion loanees getting good game time with their new clubs

Here is a rundown of how it's gone for them so far.

Tomas Kalinauskas: Kalmar FF

Kalinauskas joined Swedish second division side Kalmar FF at the end of July, arriving mid-season there.

The Roda Broder (Red Brothers) were relegated last season and are aiming to bounce straight back.

They are making a good go of it, unbeaten in Kalinauskas's first month with them and second in the table with 42 points from 21 games, only behind leaders Orgryte IS on goal difference.

Kalinauskas started three of their five matches in August and made his mark in their 2-0 win against Varbegs BolS, scoring and providing an assist.

He added another assist in the next game, a 1-0 win away at Umea.

He was not needed in a 5-0 win in the Swedish Cup but played in a 2-0 win at home to Helsingborg before the international break.

He was recalled to the Lithuanian squad for World Cup qualifiers against Malta and the Netherlands.

He came on as a 69th-minute substitute at home to Malta, in which Lithuania salvaged a 1-1 draw with a 96th-minute penalty but was an unused substitute as they went down 3-2 at home to the Netherlands on Sunday.

Alex Bannon: Derry City
