'Skelms' caught met gun

COPS busted two would-be boewe with an unlicensed gun in Khayelitsha.
Members of Maitland Flying Squad arrested the duo after a potential victim gave them the slip on the Mew Way footbridge and reported them.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Malcolm Pojie reports: “Members of Maitland Flying Squad were doing patrols in Khayelitsha on Monday, 7 April 2025, when they were informed by a complainant about two unknown suspects who attempted to rob him, moments earlier on Mew Way bridge, Khayelitsha.
