Bible-in-hand former comedian pleads not guilty to rape charges
RUSSELL Brand has shown up in a British court, Bybel-innie-hand and pleaded not guilty in a rape case.
Brand, once the eyeliner-wearing poster boy of British comedy, was back in court this week, following new allegations after five earlier charges he denied in 2025.
The former movie star faced two counts of rape, one count of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault linked to alleged incidents involving four women between 1999 and 2005.
The former comedian, who said he found religion in early 2024, made a dramatic entrance.
