A MANENBERG accused of murdering a farmworker more than a year ago was found guilty and sentenced to 15 years jail time after he burnt the deceased's body in a vullisdrom.
Moeneeb Vardien, 25, viciously murdered Randall Robain on a Philippi farm on 28 January 2024.
The deceased's mother, Magdalene, 62, previously told the Daily Voice before the trial that she hoped that witnesses would come forward for justice for her son.
Robain's body was found in a vullisdrom after being stabbed and set alight.
