What a scrappy game of football! Okay it's a second-tier competition, but it was embarrassing.
United could have played for four hours and not scored... same for Spurs, barring the horrible goal that won them the cup, admission to the Champions League, a new lease of life, funds and prestige to make a difference next season!
Jeeez, there was so much at stake! I did call it... I believed in Ange Postecoglou and following the “clown” comment last week before the game, I thought “that’s it, Tottenham are definitely going to win it”.
It was a disrespectful accusation aimed at him from one of the pack of English gutter journalists who hunt and provoke reaction just to sell a headline.
Spiritualists will call it “karma” and realising his own prophesy, “I always win a trophy in my second season” was just that.
