WITH David Miller injured and Heinrich Klaasen retired, Donovan Ferreira finally got another chance with the Proteas, after waiting 10 months, in a rain-hit T20 against England in Cardiff on Wednesday.
Despite the Proteas’ innings being shortened to 7.5 overs, Ferreira klapped 25 not out off 11 balls, earning Player of the Match award and helping South Africa to a 14-run DLS win.
Ferreira wysed: “Nice doing it for your country, making an impact in a shortened game is nice for me. Can go anyway, but pleased the guys got over the line.
