NEEDS TO ADAPT: Aiden Markram
THE Proteas have been handed a groot boost with the return of spinner Keshav Maharaj for the second Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi at 7am today, captain Aiden Markram confirmed.
Maharaj, 35, missed the eerste Test in Lahore which Pakistan won by 93 runs due to a groin injury.
Markram praised Maharaj’s experience and skill set, saying his return is a key factor as South Africa look to bounce back and level the two-match series.
Markram wysed: “Obviously, it’s great to have him back in the camp.
