PRESIDENT Cyri Ramaphosa has wysed Kaapse mense to piemp the gangsters in their communities if they want to end the violence.

Ramaphosa was addressing Parliament in Cape Town during a Q&A session yesterday.

Questions were put to him by various MPs, including Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema, about how he plans to tackle the gun and gang violence innie Kaap.

With a policing crisis on his hands, the president said mense must do their part to fight crime. He said: “We want gang violence to be fought throughout the country, not only Gauteng, KZN, Eastern Cape or the Western Cape.
