Prem weekend was a mad one

HELLO my good football people, I trust all is well with you... I'm still scratching my head a bit following a mad weekend of football which seemed to be dominated by dud performances by some players and teams!

I'll give you a few examples... lets start with Spurs! Hahaha, oh my word, from potential title contenders beating Manchester City last week - to conceding a goal at home against Bournemouth in the first few minutes and losing 1-0. Man, if ever there was a way of illustrating what being "Spursy" is, that was it on Saturday.

Then across London to Stamford Bridge, and after thrashing the Hammers, Chelsea were second best for the best part of 90 minutes to Fulham.

A very dodgy VAR decision cancelled out the Cottagers' opener, then a converted handball penalty dropped the heads of the visitors as the Blues took all three points with a clean sheet... ringing true the old saying, "football is a funny old game".
