BENFICA are set to appoint Jose Mourinho as their new manager following the dismissal of Bruno Lage after a 3-2 home defeat to Qarabag in the Champions League, according to Portuguese TV station RTP.
Benfica confirmed Lage’s departure yesterday, with President Rui Costa expressing gratitude for his efforts but stating it was time for a change. The club hopes to have Mourinho in place for Saturday'
