Shunned MK member Floyd Shivambu wants to start new movement
FLOYD Shivambu said he will create a new political party at a dramatic press conference yesterday.
Ousted as uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party secretary-general just two weeks ago, he claimed he was accused of plotting to topple Jacob Zuma as the MKP leader.
After his bombshell claim he wysed that he will not resign from the party, brushing off questions about dual membership of political parties.
Speaking at a press briefing at the Mhulu Luxury Boutique Hotel in Midrand on Thursday, Shivambu said he'll consult with leaders from all walks of life, including soccer bosses Irvin Khoza, Patrice Motsepe and Kaizer Motaung.
