DELFT motorists have been warned to watch out for laaities stealing off the back of moving bakkies.

In a shocking viral video, a group of young boys were spotted jumping onto the back of a bakkie at Silversands Circle, Delft Main Road, and escaping at Voorbrug Stop near the Post Office after stealing items from the bakkie.

A video was posted by a community group on Facebook and captures the act showing the group of youngsters standing at the circle when two boys can be seen running towards the bakkie and hanging on to the back.

The children are then seen opening the canopy while the bakkie is driving. One laaitie later jumps off the bakkie with a parcel in hand and starts running away while the other one jumps off moments later.

The driver seems min te wete as he does not stop.
