Boland rugby referee allegedly killed his girlfriend before shooting himself

IN A tragic apparent lovers' quarrel, a Boland rugby referee is suspected of killing his girlfriend and then taking his own life.
The bodies of Jannie Wilskut and his partner Alvina Faro were found in a pool of blood after he had apparently shot her and then turned the gun on himself on Tuesday night.
Western Cape SAPS spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk confirmed the incident.
He said: “De Doorns police registered a murder and inquest following an incident on 16 September at 11.55pm at a premises in Suncity Street, Sunnyside Orchard, De Doorns.
