Child sex predator gets 12-year straf

A SPRINGBOK child molester who gave his victim a R5 after the assault has been sentenced to 12 years in the mang.
Gerhard Pieters, a 47-year-old man from Bergsig, was found guilty of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl at his home on 1 April 2023.
According to the case, the accused attempted to forcibly kiss the victim and then closed her mouth wit his hand when she screamed for help.
He also touched her private parts, but she managed to run away.
