Blues crash is tough to watch

Daily Voice

April 22, 2025

It was another weekend of below-par performances for Manchester United and Chelsea, with Ruben Amorim looking like the imposter he is and Enzo Maresca’s 2-1 win glossing over a horrible first half which mirrored the last few months that have seen Chelsea drop from second to sixth, looking unlikely to secure a top-five finish.

Blues crash is tough to watch

I mean, what the f**k has happened to Reece James? Club captain, outstanding right-back, those marauding runs up the line, the dangerous crosses and tackling technique?

I'm a big fan, but since his latest injury (and switch inside the field) he just isn’t the same. There are too many mistakes throughout the team, too many bad passing decisions... players running into correct channels and not receiving the ball. It's pedestrian, boring and frustrating to watch.
