Double joy for Humphries
LUKE HUMPHRIES was close to tears after clinching his fifth TV major in nine months.
'Cool Hand' became only the second player in history to win the World Matchplay as reigning world champion with a tense 18-15 victory against Michael van Gerwen in the final.
And as he lifted the Phil Taylor Trophy at Blackpool's sold-out Winter Gardens, Humphries said: "When I take this trophy home with me, it will mean the world.
