SHAKE yer tail feather over here! Gadgets which vibrate could be the answer to fixing stress and provide much-needed calmness to those suffering from anxiety according to boffins, as we revealed yesterday.

WE'RE PICKIN' UP GOOD VIBRATIONS...Shaking it off

Here KIM CARR puts her finger on 15 pulsating facts about vibrations...

1 Ancient Egyptians were fascinated by the sound of vowels and believed those sounds could generate vibrations with healing powers. They practised a method called toning, where vowel sounds were manipulated using the breath and voice, believing a sick person had lost their inner harmony and was not in tune with the universe.

2 Greek philosopher Pythagoras looked at the relationship between geometry and maths to music.

He declared musical vibrations were healing as they could harmonise an out of balance body.

3 While your lugs might not be able to hear it, everything around us has its own vibration as atoms are in a constant state of motion.
