A new drive to get Crimbo couch potatoes moving highlights the UK’s best coastal beauty spots to burn off blubber this Christmas and New Year.
The list includes beaches of pebbles and golden sands around our island nation - all of which are dog-friendly with no seasonal restrictions on man's best friend.
Top of the sand pile is the UK’s longest seaside strip, Chesil Beach, an incredible 18 miles long.
The study by Parkdean Resorts said: "Chesil Beach is one of Dorset's most iconic coastal gems, and it's dog-friendly all year round.
