TRIBAL FENDS OFF CHARYN
Daily Star
|September 09, 2024
CHARYN met with heroic defeat in the Group One Prix du Moulin as Tribalist galloped to the bookies' rescue at 25-1.
Punters made Charyn the odds-on favourite to rack up a top-level triumph by adding the one-mile Paris Longchamp feature to his victories in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot and Deauville's Prix Jacques le Marois.
But they reckoned without Mickaël Barzalona, who dictated the tempo aboard Tribalist, seeking a first Group One win.
