Ful stop on Blues bid to honour Bill

FULHAM continued their incredible sequence at Goodison Park to reach their first domestic cup semi-final in 21 years after a marathon penalty shoot-out.
They arrived on Merseyside on the back of three successive league wins and this hard-fought victory brought up the quadruple to ruin Everton’s night to remember their former chairman Bill Kenwright.
The challenge was set by Toffees legend Peter Reid at Monday’s memorial service to win a trophy for the colourful impresario who has passed away.
But the Cottagers and their manager Marco Silva, who was sacked by the Merseyside club, had other ideas.
An 82nd-minute goal from Beto set up the spot-kick roulette and it was Tosin Adarabioyo who was the Cottagers hero making it 7-6 and securing a passage into the last four.
