Classy Highbury goal Jensen's first, his last, his everything
-
ARSENAL have scored more than 2,000 Premier League goals over the course of the last 33 years - but only one really matters to John Jensen.
Tt came against QPR on New Year's Eve 1994 and was a remember-where-you-were moment for Gunners fans.
Combative Jensen had joined from Brondby for £1.1m two years earlier after helping Denmark win the Euros and become something of a cult hero at Highbury.
He was known for his ferocious work rate and tough tackling, but certainly not for his goalscoring ability.
As 1994 was ready to make way for 1995, the fuzzy-haired midfielder's record read: Appearances 97 - Goals 0.
