HATTON ON 'MESSY' SESH WITH RAHM
TYRRELL HATTON is prepared for another “messy” Ryder Cup victory party after revealing he celebrated making Europe’s Ryder Cup team by getting plastered.
Hatton is unlikely to sink as many shots at Bethpage Black as he managed in his qualification celebrations with fellow LIV Golf star Jon Rahm.
Dubai Desert Classic champion Hatton finished sixth in the rankings to win an automatic place on Luke Donald's team, despite only playing five qualifying events this year.
European captain Donald called Hatton last month to confirm the news after LIV Indianapolis, where Rahm had sealed the breakaway series’ individual title.
And the Ryder Cup teammates (below), who are both teeing up at the BMW PGA at Wentworth this week, then celebrated in outrageous style.
“That was a very nice phonecall to receive - I was over the moon to be honest,” said the world No.25 of Donald’s message.
“Jon had just won the individual, so we had a bit of a tear-up.
