MARK SYKES silenced the doubters on the Bristol City bench to clinch a point for the nine-man Robins.Liam Manning's side lost Joe Williams to a first-half red card but Sykes' strike salvaged a point after Greg Leigh put Oxford ahead.

The City midfielder (right) said: "We worked on a few set-plays on Friday.
"It wasn't actually me on them, it was Scott Twine so I was lucky he was off the pitch. I heard a few rumours there were a few doubters on the bench that didn't fancy me.
