Brierley rallies crisis-hit Devils

RYAN BRIERLEY opened up on Salford's winter of discontent insisting: "No one wants to leave that's our spirit."

Crisis-club Red Devils have endured a wretched few months and are still unsure about their future with the new season just days away.

At one point it looked like they could go bust and there were big fears players would at least need to be sold to overcome an £800,000 shortfall.

It is hoped new owners will complete a takeover deal in the next 48 hours to avert that.
