Son's making it count
Daily Star
|February 04, 2025
HEUNG-MIN SON says Tottenham are halfway through a defining spell in their season - and it is so far, so good. Spurs skipper Son and senior team-mates including Ben Davies gathered last week and delivered a rallying cry that the next four games, starting with beating Elfsborg in Europe, would define their campaign.
Sunday's win away to Brentford was their first in the league for seven weeks and came despite having no recognised centre-back in the squad.
But next up is the big one as Ange Postecoglou's team take a one-goal advantage to Anfield for the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Thursday.
