SHOT FIRED: Price England 'rubbish' for Price

GERWYN PRICE has stuck the boot into Luke Littler and Luke Humphries by insisting their lack of unity contributed towards England's “rubbish” performance at the World Cup of Darts.

Price and fellow Welshman Jonny Clayton finished runners-up in Frankfurt after losing a last-leg shoot-out to Northern Irish duo Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney.

The tournament's major shock came when England - Littler and Humphries (below) - were dumped out at the last-16 stage following an 8-4 defeat to hosts Germany.

And Price was more than happy to jibe the pair about the loss to Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko.
