The Rendlesham Forest Incident, over Christmas 1980, saw military staff at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk report seeing strange lights and marks on the ground in nearby woodland.

A triangular-shaped craft, 10 feet across and eight feet high, with three legs was also seen. The events have never been properly explained.
In 1995 two pilots of a Boeing 747 coming into land at Manchester Airport said they'd seen a puzzling high-speed Christmas tree or wedge-shaped object.
SAUCER...
The traditional saucer-shaped UFO goes back to reports of a flying disc in Roswell, US, in 1947.
But they've been seen in the UK too. Margaret Fry and a local GP believed they'd seen a saucer-shaped UFO hover over a street in Bexley, southeast London, in 1955.
