Wiegman wants surge in women’s game after Euros win
ENGLAND boss Sarina Wiegman hopes the Lionesses’ stunning Euro 2025 triumph will have a huge impact on women’s football around the world.
Wiegman’s side retained their crown with a dramatic penalty shootout victory against Spain.
And now she wants their success to go global.
“I hope it will boost the women’s game even more, not only in England, but beyond,” said Wiegman.
