RYAN MANNING hailed James Ward-Prowse as the inspiration for his stunning first free-kick goal in senior football.
Former Southampton ace Ward-Prowse (inset) holds the record for most free-kick goals scored in the Premier League with 17.
Saints left-back Manning admitted it would be “an insult” to put him in that class, before revealing his curling 30-yard equaliser in the 90th minute was inspired by JWP's relentless training ground routine.
